What we distribute

We build and maintain the following for WordPress. Every item on this list is released under the GNU General Public License, version 2 or later (GPL-2.0-or-later), the same licence as WordPress itself.

• Ariade, an accessibility-ready full site editing block theme, together with the blank Ariade Child starter theme that ships with it.
• Ariade Companion and Ariade Demo, the two helper plugins for the theme (accessible header and menu, sitemap, and one-click demo content).
• The Ananyoo accessibility plugins: Accessible Forms, Accessible Carousel, Accessible Login, Accessible Portfolio and Accessible Events. See the plugins hub for all of them.

The licence

Ariade WordPress Theme, Copyright 2026 Shivaji Mitra (M/S. Anblik). Ariade is distributed under the terms of the GNU GPL v2 or later. The same copyright notice and licence apply to each plugin named above.

Under the GPL you may use the software on any number of sites, for any purpose, including client work and commercial sites. You may study and change the code, and you may share the original or your changed version with others, as long as it stays under the GPL. The full licence text ships inside every package and is published by the Free Software Foundation at gnu.org.

Everything inside each package is covered: PHP, JavaScript, CSS, block markup, patterns, templates and the bundled assets described below. There is no separate proprietary part and no split licence.

Free, not freemium

We do not sell WordPress themes or plugins. There is no “pro” version, paid add-on, licence key or usage limit. What you download is the complete product, and updates are free as well.

The Ananyoo plugins are also hosted in the WordPress.org plugin directory under our profile, profiles.wordpress.org/anblik, where every plugin passes the same review and licence requirements as any other plugin in the directory.

Bundled fonts, images and libraries

Ariade bundles two font families, Barlow Semi Condensed (copyright The Barlow Project Authors) and Geist (copyright Vercel), both under the SIL Open Font License 1.1, which is GPL compatible. The licence files ship inside the theme, and no font is loaded from a remote server.

All photographs and illustrations bundled in the theme were created by the theme author, Shivaji Mitra, and are released under CC0-1.0 / GPL-2.0-or-later. No stock photography is bundled. Where a plugin includes a third-party library, that library is GPL compatible and its licence is stated in the plugin readme.

Names and logos

The GPL covers the code. The names Ananyoo, Ariade and Anblik, and the Ariade logo, identify our work and are not licensed for use as your own brand. You may keep the theme credit line, change it or remove it; the code stays GPL either way. WordPress is a trademark of the WordPress Foundation.

Services are different from products

Our accessibility audits, remediation, VPAT and ACR documents and custom development are services, quoted per project under our Terms and Conditions. A service engagement never changes the licence of the products above, and code we deliver on top of WordPress stays under the GPL wherever the GPL requires it.
